Timothy Edward Burke, "Tim", entered eternal life on February 7th, 2019, he was 61. Tim was born in Englewood, New Jersey on February 20th, 1957 to Edward Francis and Dorothy Mary (Bourne) Burke. Tim proudly served in the United States Marine Corp for four years. After his discharge from the Marine Corp, Tim joined the United States Air Force and served over 20 years, retiring in 2016 as a Master Sergeant. He has most recently worked as the Assistant Chief Logistics Officer at US Department of Veterans Affairs. On September 28th, 1983, Tim married his beloved wife Ellen Ann O'Connell, she survives. He is also survived by Ellen's family who adored him. Tim had been a Past Grand Knight and Treasurer at the E.G. Alberque Sr., Knights of Columbus Council #2229, where he had been a member for over thirty years. A memorial service will be held during a reception at the E.G. Alberque Sr., Knights of Columbus Council #2229; 106 Bergen Ave, Ridgefield Park, NJ 07660, on Saturday, February 16th, 2019 from 11am - 2pm. Immediate family and friends are invited to join in honoring Tim's life and memory. Tim will also be honored by members of the Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree and the United States Military.
