Obituary for Sallyann Danny (Veccia)
Sallyann Danny of Wallington, entered eternal life on Sunday, January 13th, 2019, she was 75. Sallyann was born in Passaic on December 1st, 1943, to Salvatore and Sendina (Bove) Veccia.
She was raised in Rutherford, and was a graduate of Rutherford's Class of 1962; and in 1965 she settled in Wallington. Sallyann had worked in accounts receivable at Pepsi Cola for over ten years, before moving to Champion Plastic in Clifton, retiring in 2008. Sallyann was married to Raymond Danny in Wallington on December 14th, 1978. In addition to spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, Sallyann could often be found crocheting, traveling, shopping, loving animals, especially cats, and playing the slots in Atlantic City. Sallyann is survived by her devoted children Tina and her husband Thomas Murray, Sallyann and her husband Scott Goldberg and Louis and his wife Cindy Monaco. She is also survived by her ten cherished grandchildren Thomas, Ryan and Julianne Murray, Nicole and Ralph Monaco, Matthew, Jennifer, Jessica and Collin Goldberg, and Allison Rose Monaco. She is also survived by her beloved niece Elisa and her husband Scott Friedman. Sallyann was predeceased by her dear husband Raymond, her dear son Ralph Monaco, and her brother Salvatore Veccia II. Visiting 2 - 4 pm, and 7 - 9 pm, Wednesday, January 16th, 2019 Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave. Wallington. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 am, Thursday, January 17th, at Church of St. Joseph, 120 Hoboken Rd., East Rutherford, New Jersey 07073. Sallyann will be laid to rest with her husband at St. Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum, 1 Outwater Lane, Saddle Brook.
