Jozef Popek of Wallington, entered eternal life on Sunday, March 11th, 2018, he was 60. Jozef was born in Bojanow, Poland on July 31st, 1957 to Bronislaw and Zofia (Zak) Popek. Jozef was married to Maria (Ziolkowska), on January 15th, 1978 in Poland. He came to the United States in 1989, and settled in Wallington. Jozef had worked as a self-employed mason while living in Poland, and was a current member of the Local 4 BAC Union in Fairfield, NJ. Jozef spent much of his free time attending to his gardens, antiques, wine making and woodworking. He was a dedicated family man and an active parishioner of The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Jozef is survived by his beloved wife Maria, his five children, Aneta and husband Mark Wygonik, Piotr Popek, Kamil and his wife Barbara Popek, Bart Popek and Simon Popek and his fiancee Oliwia. He is survived by four grandchilden Matthew, Nathan, Adrian and Amelia; his six siblings, Irena, Jan, Krystyna, Celina, Bogdan and Marian. Visiting 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm, Wednesday, March 14th, at Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave. Wallington. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am, Thursday, March 15th, at The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, 127 Paterson Avenue, Wallington.
